Hi!

My name is Lauren and I am an Illinois certified hairstyles with 16+ years experience. My specialties are connecting with people and making them feel at home, safe, and supported. I LOVE to cut hair, to create shapes and work with textures. I emphasize features and lean on effortless beauty as my main focus. Coloring hair is equally as fun and i’m always up for a good challenge where I can utilize the color wheel and dive into chemistry.

I got started by worked at Haircuttery in Champaign, where I got my footing in the industry and in this town. I then took my knowledge to H2O Salon, a unique and trendy commission salon in Urbana. After some time, I braved the big city for mens barbering training where I worked at Swagger Salon (now Tailor Barber Co. a Mens Barber Salon in Wicker Park. After a year in the city, I moved back to Champaign where I found a home inside Kane & Company, a prestigious booth rent Salon in Downtown Champaign and now with a full clientele, I opened a salon suite inside The Salon House.
